The music of TERRY ALLAN HALL has been
described as a "tasty concoction of Good-time Folk-Rock and Country
Gold, seasoned with a smidgeon of Jazz, a pinch each of Tin Pan Alley
and Texas, and a healthy dollop of 'Down Home Blues', masterly served
up through his expressive voice and confident command of the 6 and
12-string guitar, harmonica, banjo, mandolin, dobro and dulcimer".
TERRY ALLAN HALL has been a part of the entertainment scene of
North Texas (and elsewhere) since 1975, performing both solo and/or
with a succession of bands, the latest being "Too Hot For Snakes".
In addition to performing at restaurants, cafes, coffee-houses, festivals and private affairs, TERRY finds time to share his music at nursing homes, retirement centers, hospitals and other places in need of a bit of cheer.
He is also focusing much of his energies into educational children's
presentations for libraries and schools (both public and private),
tailoring his shows to the themes of Summer Reading Programs and other
events for kids from pre-school age to teens. Terry thinks learning can
be fun, and his variety of performances reflects lessons on history and
ethics in a way kids thoroughly enjoy. TERRY ALLAN HALL lives in New Fairview, TX, a tiny burg nestled
so well between Rhome and Decatur that it can rarely be found, with his
wife/best friend/soul-mate, Georgia Anne, their 2 children (actually,
there's another, but he's already moved into his own domicile!), 4
dogs, 3 cats, several birds, 11 tortoises, and a vast number of "small,
furry beasties". Terry's webwsite: http://www.terryallanhall.com/
