Hi, I'm John Burr, the BSR is a Stage name. I started in November of 2005 on my 48th birthday and I have been having a blast. I play mostly acoustic stuff but I have a sweet Washburn HB35S Electric I use for some stuff. I am a rank beginner but I am a hard working guy so I am getting better all the time.
I have done three open mic nights locally and really have had a blast. I also have been recording my practice stuff about once a month since starting last November. I started doing it so I could see some progress and I guess there is some. I just posted my "9 months of lessons" song last weekend if you would like to listen. I would also love to listen to any stuff you guys are doing. Soundclick is a blast and finding some cool new music that will never hit the radio is too much fun.
Slick new site, lots of content for being so new. Hope to get to know some of you folks soon...
